Description

The humble bench dog is the mainstay for a traditional carpenter and joiners work bench. It’s function is to resist the force you impart when planing or working timber at the bench. As times change, the bench dog has a multitude of uses. One use in particular is when combined with a regularly dog holed bench or work surface, the ability to hold timber in position while another pair of bench dogs align a track saw at 45 and 90 degrees. A must for someone without a table saw or even a mitre saw.
